Sean Tyas has to be the hottest trance producer around at the moment’ – Armin van Buuren
Sean Tyas, a New York native, now residing in Switzerland, brings to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that is sure to be just as effective on the legs as it is on the heart.
He got his start in 1999 with his first set of Tech-12s and started to learn how to mix music, but just for fun on the side and a good excuse to buy dance records. But for him, this was not enough. In the coming couple of years, he put together a studio and began producing records as well. By the age of twenty six, he has already remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Moby, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Milian, and PPK. During this time he got his start into professional DJing with clubs in NYC such as Shelter and Exit.
Moving to Europe proved to be a great move for Sean, doing all production for DJ Beam in Germany and building his experience as a studio producer. Eventually Sean decided to step away, concentrated much more on his own productions and remixes. “Mirella” was the product of this exodus, as it was promptly signed to Afterglow Recordings, seeing John Askew and Dave Joy remixes. This led to a follow-up remix of Duderstadt – Muhanjala, which has seen almost every playlist of any trance DJ this year, including Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk.
Sean’s remix of Beam – “On your Mind” proved to be another HUGE club smash. Caned CONSTANTLY by the likes of Paul van Dyk, John O’Callaghan, & Armin van Buuren, this remix essentially locked Sean in as one of 2006’s more endeared talents in the genre.
The hype on his first single ‘Lift’, was even more amplified by Sean’s winning of the Sander van Doorn – Punk’d Remix Competition, beating out over 250 other remixes. The following year and a half up until now, Sean has quickly been solidifying his place in the trance music genre with relentless remixes and productions.
On the DJ side of things, Sean has hit the ground at a running pace, and by now in 2008 he has already played in over 30 countries spread across 5 continents. As 2010 comes around, Sean will now be getting back to the studio to focus on his original productions, and develop more as a production artist.

Arnej and 8 Wonders - Beginning Of The End / The Crossover

Looks like Canadian producer/DJ Arnej Secerkadic suffers from a small identity-crisis. A little schizophreny never harmed creativity though, so we welcome Arnej and his 8 Wonders moniker all together on this A State of Trance release. With two proggy flavoured Arnej tracks, 'They Need Us' and 'Ping Pong', going round the dance scene at the moment, the mastermind behind 'Strangers We've Become', 'They Always Come Back' and 'The Ones That Get Away' is off to a swift start of 2010.

Those tracks were the perfect warm up for what was about to come, for this trancy duo is an absolute main course. The bulky beat of 'The Crossover' punches directly in the face, guided by a storm of distortion and dramatic synths. Aly & Fila feat. Sue McLaren - I Can Hear You

So far it's been a busy year for the successful DJ and producer duo Aly & Fila. Their Future Sound Of Egypt label joined forces with Armada Music and shortly after their first artist album 'Rising Sun' saw the light of day. The Egyptians hit the core of the trance scene with their singles 'My Mind Is With You' and 'Listening', and as one of the most popular producer duo's in the trance scene their current schedule includes countless gigs all around the globe.

For those that think they'd burn out, not even close! Aly & Fila still just can't get enough. With their new single 'I Can Hear You', also taken from their successful 'Rising Sun' album, they once again provide a tempting trancer, melodic and uplifting, just the way we like it. On the vocals, British singer Sue McLaren lent her lovely voice to the Egyptian duo. An explosive combination, set to bomb the dance floor.
