Arnej

Arnej

One of many talented producers that knows how to deal with soundscapes, beats and melodies, but has a sound like no other, is Canadian top producer Arnej. Look beyond the numerous signs of his musical schizophrenia and you’ll be surprised how well this music addict knows how to turn his tricks and hits into yet another diverse beat-beauty.
Arnej founded his success with tracks like ‘Rendezvous’, ‘The Ones That Get Away’, ‘The Return’ and ‘They Always Come Back’, all heavily supported by the DJ elite and reaching the crowd through names like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, David Guetta and Paul Oakenfold. Being tipped as favourite producer of 2008 by Armin van Buuren, receiving a nomination for ‘Best New Face of 2008′ at the Trance Awards, pouring out as many as 10 quality singles in this year alone, and remixing some of the most iconic names in trance, including Armin van Buuren, The Thrillseekers and Push aka M.I.K.E., have made Arnej’s prominence rise high and grow fast.
With Arnej’s first vocal track and collaboration with Josie and Jaren, ‘Strangers We’ve Become’, ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’, ‘They Need Us’ and ‘The Strings That Bind Us’ making waves across the scene, a video game soundtrack in the making and all the backup and support one might wish, Arnej is prepared for another year that will surely take his musical art to the next level.

Arnej and 8 Wonders - Beginning Of The End / The Crossover

Looks like Canadian producer/DJ Arnej Secerkadic suffers from a small identity-crisis. A little schizophreny never harmed creativity though, so we welcome Arnej and his 8 Wonders moniker all together on this A State of Trance release. With two proggy flavoured Arnej tracks, 'They Need Us' and 'Ping Pong', going round the dance scene at the moment, the mastermind behind 'Strangers We've Become', 'They Always Come Back' and 'The Ones That Get Away' is off to a swift start of 2010.
Those tracks were the perfect warm up for what was about to come, for this trancy duo is an absolute main course. The bulky beat of 'The Crossover' punches directly in the face, guided by a storm of distortion and dramatic synths. Driven by the unmistakable atmosphere of the 8Wonders moniker, Arnej made 'Beginning Of The End' reside on the darker side just the same, with another legendary, theatrical type of break. We'd like to think it's not the beginning of the end for Arnej, but more the end of the beginning. This talent is ready for the next phase in his already impressive musical career.
Tracklist:
  1. Beginning Of The End (Original Mix) (07:47)
  2. The Crossover (Original Mix) (08:15)

Arnej - The Strings That Bind Us

Fallacy was reigning supreme when Arnej made up the first notes of his new A State of Trance release. There's no way around it. 'The Strings That Bind Us' has such a strong, eerie ambience, that its 9 minutes of pure delusion will send you off to an outside world where nothing but the music matters. Not that Arnej's trying to delude anyone, creating new sounds and worlds within them, is part of his nature. Thousands - if not millions - of souls have gone lost in the world of Arnej's productions, with 'They Always Come Back', 'Dust In The Wind', 'Tomorrow Never Comes' and 'Beginning of the End' taking soul by soul. After the more uplifting, anti-Arnej track 'They Need Us', the Canadian mastermind returns to his deep and dark prog-trance with 'The Strings That Bind Us'.
Intense, deep-rooted synths swirl inside a maze of strings, intricate vocals effects and the surroundings of melodrama. With 'The Strings That Bind Us', Arnej's back doing the thing he's best in: creating new worlds with unforgettable, timeless productions.
You'll find 'The Strings That Bind Us' not only on your mp3 player, rocking your stereo or down the clubs, but also on Armin van Buuren's 'A State of Trance 2010'.

  2. The Strings That Bind Us (8 Wonders Mix) (07:17)

Arnej - The Day Will Come

The day has come. The day that Canadian producer Arnej Secerkadic once again shows he's a true master of soul-soothing prog-trance sounds. After exploring the very edge of music and all its options with the hauntingly beautiful 'They Always Come Back', 'Dust In The Wind', 'Tomorrow Never Comes' and 'The Strings That Bind Us', he ever still keeps his mind open to new rides into depth. Whether under his Arnej or 8 Wonders moniker, this guy's music and specific, unrivalled sound crawls under your skin time after time.
His latest creation, 'The Day Will Come', is another shadowy, remarkable prog tune. Tight beats, warping bass, a constant drive and deep synths take you in, along with a tension-building effect, perceptibly heading for its forceful conclusion.
On his '8 Wonders Remix', he embellishes the track with a more euphoric lead melody and bolder bassline. The day has come. The day you will enjoy your journey to the darker side of trance.
